SUSS by MKITOS BATCH 01 — CLOSES 15 NOV
FIG. 01 EST. 2026

SUSS

Start Up Something Stupid

A barter, not a fund. No one is paid and nothing is bought — work, skills and ideas are the only currency, and everyone who joins leaves with more than they brought.

Free to register — closes 15 Nov 2026. No money involved. No idea required.

Start up now Something silly Bring what you can Ideas, know-how, time Leave with what you need Founders, mentors & interns

02

It always looks stupid first

Sensible ideas are already taken by people with money. The ridiculous ones are still open — cheap to start, and worth trading your time for. Every one of these was a joke before it was a business.

MKITOS

The stupid one first. Built before anyone was watching, and kept going anyway. Now it is the middle that holds SUSS together.

CROCS

Rubber shoes with holes in them that look like a garden tool. Dumbest footwear on earth. Nobody stopped buying them.

PET ROCK

A rock in a box, sold as a pet. Millions of units. The product did nothing. That was the product.

03

Three sides, one shape

Founders, mentors and interns are the three sides. Each side brings something the others need, and needs something one of the others brings. Pull out any side and the shape collapses — it is a loop, not a queue.

FOUNDERS MENTORS INTERNS SUSS BY MKITOS

Founders start it. Mentors sharpen it. Interns ship it. Everyone is paid in trades.

04

What you bring, what you take

SUSS has no money in it. Every relationship here is a trade — you offer what you can do and take what you need. Nothing is given, nothing is owed, and the terms are yours to set.

SideYou bringYou take
Foundersan idea and your timea business that exists
Mentorswhat you already knowa credited public record
Internsyour hours and your efforta portfolio with your name on it

No cash, ever: the only currency here is what people can do for one another. You decide the terms of your own trade; MKITOS opens the room and keeps it honest.

05

The deal

Non-negotiables. If these do not suit you, SUSS is not for you, and that is fine.

Open by default: work and reviews are visible to everyone in the batch. Transparency is the point. If your idea needs privacy, say so on the form and we will work it out.

Work is chosen, never assigned: interns pick their own tasks and hours are capped. Submitting something guarantees a written review — part of what they take from the trade. The name stays on the work.

No one is paid in money: the payment is whatever you walk away with — shipped work, a reviewed record, a business. You set the terms of every trade.

06

The nine

Batch 1 is capped at nine businesses. Small on purpose, so the trades stay real and MKITOS can actually show up for all of them.

Rolling, not waiting

There is no 30-day limbo. You start the moment you are accepted. First nine in. Business ten joins the queue for Batch 2.

A seat frees itself

When a business graduates — it ships, it stands on its own, it runs out of road — its seat opens and the next in line steps up.

Interns on demand

Not every founder needs an intern. Interns attach to tasks when there is work worth doing. No forced placements, no idle people.

07

How we pick

We do not judge what you trade or where you end up. We only judge what gets in. Every idea is scored, and every rejection comes with a reason.

Criterion15
Stupiditysensible, boringgloriously ridiculous
Real painnobody suffers ita real person or group does
Uniquenessa clonea genuinely new angle
Social anglenonehelps someone, or reframes something

Accepted if stupidity ≥ 3, real pain ≥ 4, uniqueness ≥ 3. A normal business with no cause and no angle is a no, however profitable it might be. We do not define your success. We do define the door.

08

Questions

What exactly do I trade?

Whatever you can do — an idea, your hours, a skill, a stake or an introduction. In return you take what you need: experience, a portfolio, a written review, reach, or a business you own.

Do I need an idea to register?

No. “I have no idea yet” is a complete answer. Some people arrive with skills and find the idea inside. Register anyway.

Do I need money?

No. Money never changes hands here. You pay in time, skill or a stake — and only ever on terms you agree to.

Is it actually free?

Yes. Registering is free and so is everything inside. There are no fees and no cut taken. The only cost is the effort you choose to trade.

What do interns get out of it?

Real tasks from real businesses, a written review of their work, credit with their name on it, and experience that outlasts the batch. Not busywork.

Do I have to take interns?

No. Interns attach to tasks that need doing. If you have nothing for them, nobody is forced on you.

What counts as success?

We do not define it, and we will not pretend to. Ship one thing and you have traded well. That is enough for us.

When does it start?

The moment you are accepted. The door opens when you walk through it.

Is my idea safe?

The room is open by default. If you need it private, tell us on the form. We would rather you build in the open, but we will not force it.

09

Register

One form for all three doors — founder, mentor or intern. Registration for Batch 01 closes 15 November 2026. Takes a few minutes, and a sentence is enough; we work out the trade together.
