How to play (short)
Starter: each player throws once to decide who starts (highest). Ties re-throw among tied players.
Throw cowries — 7 shells — face-up count maps to steps and Grace scores.
Grace (10,25,30) grants an extra turn. To take a pawn out of Charkoni you must first roll a Grace, then press Throw AGAIN to get the movement steps — the second throw is manual (not automatic).
Joda = 2+ same-color pawns on same outer square. Move the stack only with even steps or move a single pawn to break the Joda.
Landing on opponent sends them back to Charkoni (except on Castle or in Belly).
To enter Belly final approach you must have captured at least one opponent pawn.
If three Grace throws occur consecutively within a turn chain, the last three throws are cancelled and the game reverts to the state before those three throws.
Exact roll is required to re-enter Charkoni from Belly (finish).
